How much does a real estate website cost? Well, in this blog, I’m going to tell you.Why would I do this? It seems many people are completely unaware of how much time and effort actually goes into developing a good website – and so we get a few people from time to time who want us to explain the cost benefits of our template websites.When you get a new website, you’re not buying a website – you’re engaging with a designer and developer and paying for their time to bring your website to life.The breakdown on set up costsUX and graphic design to build mock ups, revisions, final design $4,500Responsive design for mobiles and tablets $2,500Website coding $7,500Content Management System (CMS) integration – this allows you to self-manage content. We use WordPress and whilst WordPress itself is free, the cost to install it on a server, configure it properly, build your website on top of the CMS is around $1,200Social media integration $1,000Contact Forms. We have 13 prebuilt forms and at about $100 per form this is $1,300Backend API integration with external systems like the Rex CRM to then allow for full property listing and searching capabilities, open home times etc. on the website - $5,000Content Insertion - Generally, it takes about 15-20 minutes per page just to enter content into WordPress and then format it correctly.
