Julian Kavanagh

Julian Kavanagh is the Chief Financial Officer at Rex Software, where he leads the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance to support sustainable growth across the ANZ and UK PropTech markets. As CFO, Julian oversees financial operations, forecasting, capital allocation, and commercial decisionmaking to enable Rex’s continued expansion and investment in product innovation, customer success, and operational excellence.

Before joining Rex in 2024, he served as Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Memories Group, where he was instrumental in scaling financial systems and operations. Prior to that, Julian held senior finance and commercial roles including Chief Financial Officer at Casa.it Group, Commercial Manager at REA Group, Senior Analyst in Revenue Management at Jetstar Airways, and Senior Accountant at KPMG Australia — experiences that have equipped him with robust expertise in finance strategy, budgeting, and organisational performance.

Julian is based in Melbourne, Victoria, and is known for his ability to align financial leadership with business strategy, drive disciplined financial management, and partner with executive teams to support innovation and long‑term growth.
