Hutton & Hutton are a boutique, family-owned and operated Brisbane agency in the business of smiles. They’re an award-winning agency, sure – but the Huttons judge their success on their clients’ happiness.
After a brief hiatus from the real estate game, Peter Hutton and his wife Karen decided to start their own independent agency. An epic customer experience was their main goal, and they needed a software system that could support them to deliver it to each and every prospect, lead, buyer and vendor.
They also wanted a tool with all the bells and whistles they needed to outdo the other agencies in their local area. With headquarters in New Farm, where there’s an agency on every main street, competition is fierce. Above all, they wanted a software system that wouldn’t hold them back.
#1 priority: the freedom to work anywhere
As a new, independent agency, Hutton & Hutton needed cutting edge technology to help them break into the highly competitive inner-city Brisbane market. So, the added bonus of being able to use Rex on the go (with Pocket) was a huge benefit.
“We’re pretty mobile. I love being able to operate my business from home, a coffee shop, interstate, or even overseas.”
— Peter Hutton, Principal at Hutton & Hutton
In fact, you’ve probably seen him doing it. He’s right here, on our website.
But of course, that need for mobility is born from a commitment to keeping their clients in the loop.
Exceptional customer service, powered by Rex
“Rex has helped us with client communication. The reminder and tracks functionality is awesome. You can just set up a track with a templated email and when it’s due to send, it just takes a few clicks,” says Peter. “I can follow up clients in literally seconds.”
Now, Hutton & Hutton are soaring ahead with their goal of becoming Brisbane’s best boutique agency - and their desire for a CRM system that doesn’t hold them back has well and truly been fulfilled. Since starting with Rex, they’ve seen the introduction of dozens of new features.
“One of the big issues that I’ve had in the past is CRMs always promising to upgrade and never following through,” says Peter Hutton, “but with Rex, the rate and quality of improvements has been fantastic. We’ve witnessed plenty already.”
