About the role
This role demands a highly skilled and proactive individual who can deliver exceptional results through strategic thinking, effective communication, and a consultative approach. Reporting into the UK Sales Manager, with a dotted line to the CRO, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients and a key contributor to our sales team's success.
Key Responsibilities
• Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative approach to understand prospect pain points and objectives, and then offer tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
• Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales leadership to formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
• Market Research: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
• Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of Rex's offerings.
• Pipeline Management: Manage a sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in a CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
• Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales and marketing teams to align messaging, share market insights, and support overall sales efforts.
• Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing agreements to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong client relationships..
• Sales Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and analyse sales data to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Cross-selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Mentoring and Training: Share industry knowledge and best practices with junior sales team members, providing mentorship and helping them develop their sales skills.
• Sales Forecasting: Forecast sales projections and budgets, working closely with finance and management teams to set realistic goals.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients regarding their experiences and requirements, and relay this information to the product development team for potential improvements.
• Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities and contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Travel: Depending on the business's scope, be prepared to travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company.
• Market Expansion: Identify and explore opportunities for expanding Rex's market presence through new client acquisition and partnerships.
