About the role
The Head of Product will orchestrate the critical phase of problem discovery, validation and customer engagement, that will enable us to achieve our strategic objectives. At the heart of this position is not only the ability to act at a high level, but just as importantly, the ability to zoom in to support the product function in a hands-on manner over shorter-term periods. The Head of Product will navigate the intricate balance between short-term agility and long-term strategic planning, ensuring our products remain agile and adaptable while still aligned with our overarching vision.
This role calls for a principal leader who can effectively manage and provide growth for a team of Product Managers, providing them with clear guidance and support to deliver on assigned product outcomes. Alignment with our core business and revenue models is paramount, and the Head of Product will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our product portfolio aligns seamlessly with our overarching business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Champion a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviours through market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to translate customer insights into actionable product strategies.
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align product strategies, streamline communication, and optimise execution.
• Collaborate with finance teams to create and manage budgets for product development, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities and revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain effective feedback loops with customers, sales teams, and customer success teams. Use this feedback to refine product features and align with evolving customer needs.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing product management team, fostering professional development, collaboration, and a results-driven culture.
• Act as a mentor and thought leader within the organisation, guiding teams to achieve excellence.
• Regularly update executive leadership on product development progress, market trends, and strategic insights that impact the company's overall direction.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive differentiation and innovation.
• Leverage insights to adapt product strategies and seize new opportunities.
• Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and deployment.
• Develop mitigation strategies to ensure product launches are smooth and successful.
• Leverage data analytics and user behavior insights to inform product decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use A/B testing to drive iterative improvements.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to our products and the industry we operate in (real estate). Ensure products adhere to relevant standards and guidelines.
• Drive product revenue growth by identifying and capitalising on market gaps, customer pain points, and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
• Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals. Prioritise features, enhancements, and updates based on business impact and customer needs.
• Explore opportunities for international expansion, adapting products to meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of different markets.
What you'll bring
• Proven track record as a Head of Product, or similar leadership role within the software industry.
• Demonstrated success in executing on product strategy, development, and innovation on a global scale.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, user-centred design, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership skills, including team management, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of aligning product offerings with business goals.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and aligning stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred.
