It’s here! Making your website a true marketing tool.
When we created Siteloft 6 years ago we were looking to solve the problem many estate agencies were facing. Digital was the buzzword for everything and a website was becoming a must-have. Agencies were looking to move their shopfront online - presenting the properties they are selling to a digital audience.
At the time WordPress was the dominant player in enabling templated designs and so it became the backbone of our website-as-a-service offering.
Fast forward to 2022 – the online world has changed and so has the way we build products here at Rex We’ve embraced new software engineering approaches and we know a whole lot more about the world of real estate. New technologies are making it easier to build and launch websites and landing pages, and making it easier to maintain, update and most importantly add to. The all-important blog and about us pages are only useful if they contain relevant, up-to-date information.

A new approach to your website tech
We started looking at the opportunities to reimagine Siteloft last year and our product and engineering teams have been hard at work behind the scenes creating a better solution to website challenges agencies have. This month we are so excited to commence the rollout of our new platform to our UK customers before we ramp up for a global launch (from July 2022).
The new structure empowers our vision to bring together all our products under one roof. Last November we unveiled the marketing face of this convergence with a new website encompassing all four products: Rex CRM, Spoke, Siteloft and (coming soon) Property Management product.
With the rollout of this new website product, we have enabled an even deeper integration with the Rex ecosystem – a faster and more agile way to refresh your site(s) and great emphasis on optimising and customising each facet of your digital shop front.
Don’t panic – we’ve got you covered
As our existing Siteloft sites are transferred to the new platform the impact on your site will be minimal (and yes, not just saying it). There will be some cosmetic changes that we’ve tested and users and customers love.
Our support and development teams will personally review each site to ensure it’s working perfectly and looking fantastic. We are even sharing a working prototype of each new site’s home page with its owner so you can see what’s coming.
And to make managing your site quick and simple (because we know that’s been a concern for everyone using WordPress) there is also a new content editing experience.
Walking you through the process
Just to ease any doubts, we’ll say it again – our teams conducted extensive testing on each site before they are launched. And you’ll receive email updates prior to the date to keep you informed and ensure you have all the details of actual people to contact if you have any concerns.
When we are all ready to hit the launch button, everything will be set to transition at midnight (GMT). Overnight, we’ll have a double verification process: only the software team, and then the testing and product team.
When you wake up, your site will be refreshed and you’ll be all set to go.
We’re committed to making this a seamless experience for you. If at any time to see something not working our global support team will be on standby to help you with a 24 hours response time for any issues that may rise.
