Introducing Hitch – a better way to refer clients

Real Estate Tech

Referring clients to providers and services gives you an opportunity to provide a well-rounded service, and make your agency a one-stop-shop for buyers’ and sellers’ property-related needs. Problem is, there’s a bunch of paperwork involved – and who’s got time for that?

You’re also putting your reputation on the line every time you make a referral. What if the person you refer business to never picks up the phone, or bothers to send a reply email? It doesn’t reflect back on you too well.  And then there’s the onerous disclosure obligations, tedious manual processes and legal requirements for another.

But what if we told you we could solve all your problems? Sounds too good to be true, right?

Well, it is with great pleasure that we introduce you to Hitch – aptly named to hitch you up with the very best services and providers.

The Hitch platform was developed to connect sellers, buyers and tenants with all the services and providers they need, easing the burden of onerous compliance requirements for the agent and significantly reducing admin overhead. Hitch helps all parties involved track, record and facilitate the referral process. The app simplifies and automates the cumbersome task to help agents better service their clients from any desktop or mobile phone, while potentially earning more referral fees.

Sorry to humblebrag, but it’s pretty darn cool – if we do say so ourselves. Here’s how it works.

When you see a seller, buyer or tenant that needs services, simply log in to the Hitch app and tick the appropriate boxes.

Hitch users don’t need to worry about organising payment – we’ve already negotiated rates with a large panel of local and national providers, including AGL, Origin, Red Energy & Telstra, and secured some of the most competitive rates in the market. Don’t worry – only the best providers, with the strongest record of customer service, are included in the panel.

You can set up your own connections in Hitch too, to help automate and streamline your existing relationships.

After selecting the appropriate provider, you can send off the referrals with one tap. Your client will receive an email inviting them to accept the referral, and if they do, Hitch will alert the provider that it’s time to take the next step.

For connections, Hitch Concierge staff will call the sellers/buyers/tenants and help them find the best provider for their needs.

Then, Hitch takes care of all the referral paperwork with legally compliant electronic consent and stores all documents in the one place for ease of access. You’ll be kept in the loop at all times, so you can check on the progress of every referral whenever you please.

And the best part? It costs you nothing apart from a nominal charge for processing the payments you receive from providers.
